If you don’t fancy manually installing a driver, I wouldn’t bother trying to upgrade – Windows 7 is supported for another few years and I prefer it in many ways. As a matter of fact I only realized I couldn’t install the Intel Windows 7 drivers after the fact which was how I came to view these particular posts.

It all depends on your hardware – you will need to download the ones you think will work, install them in compatibility mode, and see what happens. I’ll play with settings and see if I can figure out why it failed exactly. Gonna try a couple more and let you know if any work. The GM seems to work well from the time I’ve played with it.
Nothing wrong gme old hardware! Am running windows 7. They have the chipset drivers for W7, but no graphics driver is available. I’d say use Vista drivers, but they don’t exist, either.
